Utilising a pillar drill or even a hand power drill, the universal support base and boring head plus the hinge boring bit and pair of drill bits for your chosen hinge, the placing of the holes is a one shot operation per hinge. If you use more than one brand of hinges or change brand then it is only the boring head and possibly the drill bits that will need to be changed.
